Dear Kuwait knanites,
Iam very glad to know that Kuwait Knanaya Cultural Association is updating its Website with more information and updating. My hearty congratulations and prayerful wishes for all those who are engaged in this endeavor.
In the modern times electronic media is of great importance in our daily life. The data printed out cannot be easily changed, whereas the data given in the electronic media like website can be updated whenever there is a change in the given data. Now a days people are often moving from one place to another, and the details about them have to be updated accordingly. The website can be a very useful instrument to foster the links between people. Knanaya Community is well known for nurturing and strengthening mutual relationships. Moreover, the knanites are eager to extend a helping hand to another knanite in times of difficulty. In all these matters an updated website will be very handy and useful. Hence the need and relevance of updating the community website.
Once again congratulating all those who are involved in this hard but very useful exercise, and invoking God’s blessings on all the Knanayas in and around Kuwait.

Dear brothers and sisters,
It gives me great joy to note the presence, vitality, vibrance and continued growth of the
Knanaya Cultural Association in Kuwait. The mission of the Association is to be a source of
unity and to preserve the rich cultural heritage of the Knanaya Catholics in the particular context
of the modern times, which is also characterized by the unique hopes and dreams of the present
generation.
I pray that the Spirit may lead you in your mission to integrate the past and the present,
remaining true to your identity and at the same time working in mutually beneficial relationships
with the different entities, both in the church and in the local culture. In your mission to be the
“salt for the earth and light for the world” (Matthew 5:13-16), may the Lord Jesus Christ, who is
the same yesterday today and forever (Hebrews 13:8) empower you to reach “the full stature of
perfection” so that you may “work according to your function, so that the Body can build itself
up in love.” (Ephesians 4:13-16).
This website is the portal through which, the world is able to look at you in the context of your
presence in the church and the State of Kuwait and at the same time, you can express your
identity and mission in the particular circumstances. I hope that this portal, integrated with the
means of social communication, may serve as a means of an effective exchange, enriching every
visitor through the witness of the light from your joyful and fruitful lives, and that it may also
further enrich your own community as you interact with the global audience.
